12/7/2023 0 Comments Subnautica sub zero spiral plantFor all Subnautica games have survival elements and fall in that genre they are almost Role-Playing games in terms of storytelling. The story is there, the problem is it can be discovered completely out of order, you basically need to be thinking like Robin to follow it somewhat linearly and it involves some back and forth. After that you should be heading back towards Phi for the cure and the other side of the bridge. Which leads to the greenhouse and is the time to stop by Omega lab. Which leads to delta station and the tower logs lead to the Mercury wreck and the mine if you want, which leads back to Delta. I think you find the sabotage log there, which should bring Maida to mind. ![]() From there I get a little lost, Robin says something about Phi Robotics either then or before then so that feels like the next stop. Following that is visiting delta station. Best I can tell you are clearly meant to explore twisty bridges quite thoroughly early on. I feel like there is a natural narrative that emerges and unfolds but you’ve really got to nail down how and when you do what and it involves jumping around the map a bit. This game is too small, and the devs were perhaps a little too loose with the story. I feel like I’m missing some logs to be honest because I don’t remember how Sam helped Fred with them, but it’s presumably how the two women met. Fred’s issues with his seatruck, some of them we’re Margueritte. It’s definitely not the most obvious thing but I do feel like it’s somewhat hinted at elsewhere. Spiral Plant located, I KNEW it'd be something dumb I hadn't thought of trying! This is harder to do without outright spoiling it, so I see why people weren't giving me more hints.įinding the starting point isn’t, but I think the light sticks make it fairly obvious you’re nearby that and the radio message and I’m pretty sure there is some radio static that plays when you get near certain places.Įdit: if you ever want to go back: There’s an alien cable near the pilot signal, follow the end that goes up and nearby there’s a hole down, from there follow the hive mind or the light sticks There are oxygen plants, but I got a seatruck all the way through without much hassle. There's a cave system you want to get through, maybe 25-50m down from the beacon and to the side.Oxygen plants and lights, right? See if there are any oxygen plants near the beacon. How's the game been telling you if something is the right way so far?.The interesting things might not be all the way at the bottom. The beacon is very close to where you want to go.Each bullet point is potentially more of a spoiler than the last, and the last is the clearest I feel I can get without a screenshot. It's not quite as easy as some of the answers describe, but I had some bad assumptions that made it easy for me to miss the signs. I'm editing in what I found in case someone else is stuck and wants a nudge. I'm SO SICK AND TIRED of the noises of the creatures here and about to just quit the game. What obvious hint am I missing, or is this just a badly designed part of the game? Again I don't want a full walkthrough answer, but damned if it seems I'll be able to figure it out myself. I'm also trying to build a Depth Module Mk 2 but the game's like "lol find a spiral plant" and I sure haven't found one. I've found 3 shipwrecksand a deep lava area that's definitely meant for later in the game. I've been circling the floor around that location and I can get as far as chasms that go 500m down with no sign of a bottom. I have a beacon for the last location of a person in a Prawn Suit. The larger share will be farther down in the depths to the East-Southeast of this shelf.I don't want to be spoon-fed an answer. There is a shelf that runs along the Northwest of the wreckage that can have some Spiral Plants at 150 meters. It isn't far from the Chelicerate territory but is still normally out of its normal hunting area. ![]() Once you have made your way to the Southeastern part of the Purple Vents, players should locate the Mercury II Thruster Wreckage that rests about 150 meters below the surface. However, Chelicerate dwells near where the Spiral Plants are located, so swinging out around its area-wide and coming in from the Lilypad Islands area is the better option. Normally, it would be prudent to avoid the Leviathan's home territory as much as possible, and this remains the case when heading into the Purple Vents to get some Spiral Plants. It is home to a Leviathan called Chelicerate. Between Delta Island and the East Arctic lies a region called the Purple Vents. Spiral Plants aren't super abundant, but they can be found in a decent concentration if one knows where to look.
